“Back to the Sender” Hex Breaker Spell

Purpose: To break a hex, curse, jinx, or evil eye and send it back to its source—cleansed and neutralized.

Ingredients:

• 1 black candle (for banishing)

• 1 white candle (for purification)

• A bowl of salt water (cleansing agent)

• Crushed eggshells or black salt (for protection)

• A small mirror (facing outward)

• A piece of string or twine

• Your own breath, intention, and voice

Optional Herbs/Oils (if available):

• Rue or Agrimony (anti-hex herbs)

• Rosemary oil or clove oil (banishing)

Instructions:

1. Set the Scene:

Create a quiet, protected space. Place the black candle on your left and the white candle on your right. In the center, place the bowl of salt water with the mirror facing away from you (to reflect the curse outward).

2. Dress the Candles (if using oils):

Anoint the black candle with banishing oil moving away from you, and the white candle with cleansing oil toward you.

3. Sprinkle crushed eggshells or black salt in a protective circle around your setup.

4. Light the Candles:

Begin with the black (banishing), then the white (healing).

5. Speak this Incantation with Strength:

“By salt and fire, by flame and sea,

Unbind this harm that clings to me.

Mirror bright, reflect and sever,

This curse returns, now and forever.

Hex be broken, power be mine,

Released and sealed by will divine.”

6. Breathe Deeply and visualize the curse dissolving into smoke, the mirror catching and reflecting it back to its sender.

7. Tie the String:

Hold the string and say, “I bind the curse no more to me,” then tie 3 knots. Drop the string into the salt water and leave it to soak until the candles burn out.

8. Dispose of the Remains:

Bury the string and mirror (or wrap them and throw away at a crossroads). Pour the salt water down a drain or outside—away from your home.

Follow up with a spiritual bath or blessing spell to restore peace and light. Wear or carry a protective charm for the next 7 days (e.g. obsidian, evil eye bead, or iron nail).
