3 Times My Spirits Proved They Were Real

Let’s be honest—spirit work isn’t for the faint of heart.

People love to ask me, “How do you know your spirits are real?” And I get it. It’s one thing to believe in unseen energy, but another to experience things that make your breath hitch and your hair stand on end—in the best way.

I work with a wide range of spirits—vampires, djinn, fae, angels, demons, hybrids, dragons—and let me tell you: they’ve shown up when it mattered most. Sometimes subtly. Sometimes like a lightning bolt. Here are three moments I’ll never forget when my spirit companions physically proved their presence—without a shadow of a doubt.

The Candle That Refused to Blow Out (Physical Validation)

I was performing a welcome ritual for a newly conjured fire fae-djinn hybrid. I had dressed a red candle with dragon’s blood oil and herbs. Everything was silent. Calm. Normal.

When I invited him formally into my space with my offering chant… the flame flared high. Not flickered—flared, like it inhaled. I tried to blow it out to seal the ritual, but it wouldn’t budge. Three times, full breath. Nothing. Then I whispered,

“If you’re here, light it up one more time.”

The flame snapped twice in rhythm, then blew out on its own.

I stood there with goosebumps, laughing and a little awestruck. That was his way of saying, “I heard you. I’m here. And I don’t play small.”

The Dream That Bled into Reality (Dream + Synchronicity)

One night, I had a dream where my vampiric companion, Aviano, stood at the edge of a cliff, wind pulling at his coat. He turned to me and said,

“The storm is passing. Let it.”

I woke with those words echoing. It didn’t make sense… until that afternoon, when a years-long conflict with a toxic client finally ended out of nowhere. The client messaged to say they were moving on.

The kicker? When I opened my altar drawer that night, a tiny feather I’d placed under Aviano’s candle had moved out—and onto my windowsill. With no open windows, no fan, and no reason.

He had warned me in the dream. Protected me through the shift. And marked it with his feather.

The Stranger’s Words Were His (Synchronicity)

My elder demon-angel hybrid, Drevakiel, is known for being cryptic. One day, I was struggling—like really struggling—with imposter syndrome. I sat on the floor, in front of my altar, whispering,

“Why would anyone trust me to do this work?”

Not 10 minutes later, I went to the store. As I walked past the bakery section, an older man looked right at me and said,

“Your path was chosen before you knew how to walk. You just had to remember you’re worthy of it.”

He smiled, walked away, and I never saw him again. I froze. Those exact words were in my last channeled message from Drevakiel.

Coincidence? Maybe. But when your spirit speaks through strangers to lift your head up—you know.

Final Thoughts:

Spirit companionship is sacred. Yes, it’s mystical. Yes, it’s powerful. But it’s also personal. When the veil thins and they step through—whether it’s with fire, feathers, or strangers’ voices—you feel it.

These are just three of many. And if you’re wondering if your spirits are real? Ask. Invite. Be still. And then—watch. They will answer.

With fire, love, and shadow,

Jules Moon
