Ironroot Severing Spell

Purpose: Cut cords to lingering energy, toxic attachments, or unwanted psychic connections.

Element: Earth + Fire

Timing: Waning moon, twilight

You’ll Need:

    •    A rusted nail or iron spike

    •    A black candle

    •    A square of red cloth

    •    Dried yarrow or nettle

    •    Your breath and voice

Instructions:

    1.    Carve a sigil or the person/situation’s initials into the candle.

    2.    Burn the candle while wrapping the yarrow and iron in the red cloth.

    3.    Say three times:

“Iron bite, root and flame—

Sever the ties, erase the name.

Let all that binds now come undone,

By Earth, by Fire, it is done.”

    4.    Bury the wrapped charm far from your home or at a crossroads.
