The Knot of Letting Go

 

Purpose: To release a toxic tie, habit, or emotional burden.

 

You’ll Need:

    •    A black cord or string

    •    A slip of paper with the burden written on it

    •    A small fire-safe dish

    •    Matches or a lighter

 

Steps:

    1.    Knot the string once for each emotion or tie you’re releasing, naming them aloud.

    2.    Wrap the paper in the knotted cord and say:

“Tied no more, I choose release,

From this grip I claim my peace.

Flame consume, smoke let rise,

I walk ahead, with clearer skies.”

    3.    Burn the bundle in the fire-safe dish. Scatter ashes outside.

    4.    Breathe deeply and drink a glass of water.

 

Best Time to Cast: Waning moon or sunset.
