Spell of Serpent-Tongued Protection

Purpose: To guard your name, reputation, and spirit from gossip, slander, envy, and spiritual attack.

You Will Need:

    •    Black candle

    •    Snakeskin (shed or faux) or serpent charm

    •    Pinch of crushed cloves

    •    Your photo or name paper

    •    Fire-safe dish

Spellwork:

On a waning moon, carve a serpent symbol into the candle. Lay your photo or name paper beneath it and surround with cloves.

Wrap the snakeskin or charm around the base of the candle like a coiled guardian.

Chant:

“Tongues that hiss and hearts that rot,

By serpent’s coil, they shall be caught.

Their venom dull, their bite turned weak,

My name protected—none dare speak.”

Let the candle burn safely, then bury the wax remains under a thorny bush or in your backyard. Keep the serpent charm close for continued defense.
