Spell to Strengthen Family Bonds

“Hearthwoven Hearts”

What you’ll need:

    •    A pink or brown candle

    •    A family photo or object that represents family

    •    A strand of red thread or yarn

    •    A drop of honey or sugar cube

Ritual:

    1.    Sit with the candle in front of you, with the photo or item nearby.

    2.    Tie the red thread in a loose loop (no knots), holding it around the object as you chant:

“By thread and fire, sweet and strong,

May we be where hearts belong.

Through time and storm, let love restore—

Our bond grows deeper than before.”

    3.    Drip wax from the candle onto the loop of thread (carefully) and place the honey or sugar nearby as an offering.

    4.    Keep the thread wrapped around the object or photo and place it somewhere safe in the home.

Best performed: On a Sunday, during daylight hours.
