Spell of Truth-Unveiling Eyes

Focus: Reveal hidden motives, secrets, or the truth behind a situation.

You’ll Need:

    •    1 mirror or reflective surface

    •    A sprig of rosemary or dried bay leaf

    •    Black thread

    •    White candle

Steps:

    1.    Light the white candle and hold the mirror before it so the flame reflects in its surface.

    2.    Wrap the rosemary or bay leaf in black thread, binding it tightly while whispering:

“I bind confusion, I bind the veil.

What’s been hidden, now unveil.”

    3.    Place the wrapped herb beside the mirror. Stare into your own eyes in the mirror and say:

“Through veil and fog, I now shall see.

Let truth arise and come to me.”

    4.    Let the candle burn for at least 11 minutes. Snuff it, and tuck the herb bundle under your pillow if seeking clarity in dreams, or carry it for insight in waking life.
