Spell of Warding Flame

Focus: Strong temporary shielding from energy drains, psychic vampires, or ill intentions.

You’ll Need:

    •    A red candle

    •    A small bowl of salt

    •    A circle of iron objects (keys, nails, jewelry, etc.)

Steps:

    1.    Set your iron items in a circle on your altar or floor, forming a boundary. Place the red candle and salt bowl in the center.

    2.    Light the candle and speak:

“Flame of fire, circle of steel,

Guard my heart, my soul, my will.

All that would harm, now be undone—

I walk in power. So it is begun.”

    3.    Sprinkle salt clockwise along the inside edge of the iron circle while visualizing a shield forming around you.

    4.    Leave the candle to burn down completely within the circle for full effect.
