Threshold Guardian Spell

Purpose: To prevent unwanted people from crossing your threshold and to energetically seal your home against intruders or those with ill intent.

Ingredients:

    •    A bowl of water (preferably spring or moon-charged)

    •    A pinch of salt (protection and purity)

    •    A black candle (banishment + boundary)

    •    Rosemary, sage, or bay leaves (warding herbs)

    •    A small mirror (to reflect away negative or unwanted energy)

Instructions:

    1.    Prepare the space: Clean your doorway (physical cleaning + sweeping out energy). Open the door briefly to invite fresh air in, then close it.

    2.    Charge the water: Add the salt and herbs to the bowl of water, saying:

“Waters pure, guard my door.

None unwanted enter anymore.”

    3.    Candle blessing: Light the black candle near the entrance. Pass the small mirror through the candle flame’s glow, and say:

“Reflect away all harm, deceit,

Only welcome hearts may meet.”

    4.    Seal the threshold: Dip your fingers in the salted herb water. Trace a protective line (or pentacle, or sigil if you prefer) across the top and sides of your door frame while saying:

“This home is mine, safe and sound,

All ill intent is outward bound.

By salt, flame, herb, and mirror bright,

I seal my threshold with sacred might.”

    5.    Set the mirror: Place the mirror facing outward near the door (behind a plant, above the frame, or even tucked beside it) to repel anyone with ill intentions.

Optional Boost:

    •    Sprinkle the leftover herb-water across your doorstep.

    •    Repeat the spell every new moon for fresh strength.

    •    You can substitute the chant with your own words if you want it personalized.

This creates both a magical boundary and an energetic filter so that only those with good intentions (and your permission) may cross.
