The Spell

    1.    Cleanse your space with smoke, bells, or visualization. Imagine all stagnant energy being swept away.

    2.    Set your tools in a circle or triangle on your altar or table. Place the candle in the center, herbs to the left, salt to the right, crystal above.

    3.    Light your candle and say:

“With flame I call upon the shield,

Let all that harms be now repealed.

By salt, by herb, by sacred flame,

Protection wraps me—strong, untamed.”

    4.    Sprinkle a pinch of the herbs around the candle. Place the crystal in your dominant hand and hold it over the flame (not too close). Visualize a glowing shield forming around you—violet, gold, silver, or whatever color feels protective.
