The Key to Open Roads

Purpose: Clears away blocks, opens opportunities, and draws new paths.

Ingredients:

    •    A small skeleton key (real or symbolic)

    •    A white candle

    •    A pinch of dried basil

    •    A bowl of water

Steps:

    1.    Place the key in the bowl of water and sprinkle basil over it.

    2.    Light the white candle and hold your hands over the flame.

    3.    Speak:

“By key and flame, by herb and flow,

Open the roads where I must go.

Barriers fall, new paths arise,

I step forward beneath clear skies.”

    4.    Remove the key, dry it, and carry it as a charm for seven days.
