Spell to Invite Unexpected Blessings: “The Open Door”

Purpose: To welcome opportunities and good surprises into your life.

Ingredients:

    •    A skeleton key or coin

    •    Bay leaf

    •    Orange peel or zest

    •    Yellow candle

Steps:

    1.    On the bay leaf, write the word “Welcome.”

    2.    Light the yellow candle and hold the key or coin in your hand.

    3.    Say aloud:

“Doors unseen, swing open wide,

let joy and fortune now reside.

By leaf and light, and key once turned,

a path of gold I now have earned.”

    4.    Burn the bay leaf in a fire-safe dish and scatter the ashes outside.

    5.    Keep the coin/key with you for the day.
