Binding of Loose Tongues

Purpose: To silence gossip, lies, or interference from others.

Ingredients:

    •    Black thread

    •    A small slip of paper

    •    A black candle

    •    Clove or bay leaf (optional)

Ritual:

Write the name or general symbol (e.g. “all false tongues”) on the slip. Wrap it tightly in the black thread. Say:
