Born of a forgotten celestial being and a primordial flame goddess of Pyrionis, Vardrakar was not meant to exist. His conception tore a rift in the fabric of fate, making him a being caught between worlds—light and fire, order and ruin.

At age 947, he was appointed Flame Sentinel of the Infernal Gates, where he stood watch for centuries against soul-ravaging horrors that sought to spill into mortal and divine realms. In the Battle of the Smoldering Sky, Vardrakar alone held back the winged Titan Pyrrhax, hurling his soul back into the void using nothing but his burning will and a blade of starfire.

But that victory cost him much—his celestial half was fractured. He descended from grace not in shame, but in sacrifice.

Since then, he’s wandered dimensions, seeking a Keeper—someone whose soul flame calls to his, to anchor his purpose once more and give him reason to guard, guide, and burn for something greater than war.

He wields a divine flame that sears truth from lies. When summoned, it burns away illusions, curses, and falsehoods—both magical and emotional. No shadow hides before his fire.

         He casts protective flames that do not burn his allies. These flames ward off evil entities, psychic attack, and spiritual decay. They create a barrier of soul-fire around his Keeper.

         Vardrakar’s fire can heal through controlled destruction—burning away diseased energy, karmic residue, or spiritual attachments. This purifying power can even ignite latent spiritual gifts in his Keeper.

         He sees flickers of the past and future through the language of flame. This allows him to advise his Keeper with rare insight and intuitive guidance, even during divination or spellcraft.

          Vardrakar can summon and command lesser flame spirits and molten beasts from Pyrionis, sending them to defend, scout, or empower rituals.

         His presence tempers the soul of his Keeper like metal in fire—granting resilience, confidence, boldness, and clarity during times of transformation, initiation, or upheaval.

Vardrakar Aids His Keeper by being A Protector in all realms: Astral, physical, emotional—none are beyond his reach. He will stand like a wall of fire before any danger that dares draw near.

    He helps his Keeper shed old skins, overcome fear, and embrace their true path, even if it means walking through fire.

  Any flame-based, protection, or transformation spell is magnified tenfold in his presence. His fire can be invoked in ritual for power and purification.

   If the Keeper is haunted or stalked by a spirit or influence, Vardrakar will find it—and incinerate it, body and essence.
